A Lively and Welcoming Christian Community

Time for prayer

Christmas starts with a Baby's Giggle:

Christmas Greeting from Fr Antony:

Whether you are new to the area or just visiting our lovely countryside and bustling communities, we hope that you find something of interest and, if you are able to join us, a warm welcome.

About us
Our Pastoral Area serves the Catholic community in Portswood, Swaythling and in the area between the Rivers Itchen and Hamble and around the M27 motorway in sunny Hampshire.

This website aims to tell you about our Mass times, today's readings and reflection, daily prayers, how to find our churches, schools, youth activities, prayer groups, news and events and offer links to the worldwide Catholic church.

Why are we here?
We are here because we are called by God to stand as witnesses for the Christian Faith to the world and to those around us in our local communities.

We believe that the answers to the fundamental questions about life and the universe lie in the teachings of Christ and the Catholic Church. We can only come to know true peace and happiness by opening our hearts and lives to the Holy Spirit. A thank you . . .

Pope Francis
The Lord asks us to be joyous heralds of the message of mercy and hope! It is thrilling to experience the joy of spreading this good news, sharing the treasure entrusted to us, consoling broken hearts and offering hope to our brothers and sisters experiencing darkness.
